From Seririt to Bedugul you can also drive through Mayong and Munduk. This is a lovely quiet road that leads past several rice paddies. You end your journey at the three major lakes Danau Tamblingan, Danau Buyan and Danau Bratan. Lake Bratan is located in the crater of the long-extinct and often shrouded in mists volcano Gunung Catur. Because it is more important to irrigate surrounding agricultural lands, residents of Bedugul worship the goddess of the lake, Dewi Danau. Her temple, Pura Ulun Danau Bratan, stands on a small peninsula in the lake.
