About 30 minutes south of Singaraja are the waterfalls of Git-Git. A 1 km long path, with many small touristshops, leads you past a coffee- and vanillaplantation to the 40 metres high waterfall. Here you can enjoy the water crashing down.
Munduk is located in the mountains south of Seririt. It is a typical mountain village, which makes it much cooler in temperature. Munduk is surrounded by terraces of many rice fields. It is the perfect starting point for hikes to the Buyanlake. The magic temple of Pura Ulun Danu in the Bratanlake is not far from Munduk. The most splendid botanical gardens of Bali are also in this area. Here you can find numerous wild orchids, including some very rare ones.
Take a hike or make a scooter excursion through the rice paddies in the hills behind Seririt.
Near the convent in Banjar is Air Panas Banjar, the hot-water-wells. The wells are located in a luscious tropical garden. You can enjoy the warm water, coming from jet streams in the shape of dragons heads. This gives you a perfect massage of your neck and shoulders. Some people say that the sulphurous water has great healing power. For sure, it will relax and sooth you. During the weekends many Balinese families enjoy their weekly bathing ritual in Air Panas Banjar. Don’t let the many touts along the way to the wells scare you off.

The Buddhist monastery Brahma Vihara Arama is located in the hills of Banjar, about 8 kilometres away from Loka Residence. This is the only Buddhist monastery of Bali. The monastery consists of multiple layers and has very special murals and cells for prayer. It is also known as “Little Borobodur”.
